Retroid Pocket 3+ Continued…

So, I received my Retroid Pocket 3+ on Monday afternoon. I was pretty excited as you can imagine. However, between working and going to my wife’s graduation from college, I didn’t get too much time to play around with it.

I’ve downloaded some ROMs to get started and I thought it would be right neighborly of me to share some of the sources:

https://archive.org/details/retro-roms-best-set – This is a large collection of ROMs for some of the best classic video game systems available.

https://archive.org/details/ps1-2-BIOS – This is a source for BIOS files for the Playstation and Playstation 2. These are required to run the emulators on the Retroid Pocket for those game systems.

https://archive.org/details/no-intro-nintendo-nintendo-entertainment-system-20170618 – Collection of no intro NES games. This is a format that works well with the Pocket 3+.

https://archive.org/details/no-intro-nintendo-super-nintendo-entertainment-system-20170529 – A similar collection of SNES games in no intro format.

https://archive.org/details/no-intro-sega-mega-drive-genesis-20170318 – And a collection of Sega games in no intro format.

I will add that many of these ROMs download in .7z format. So, you will want to download and install 7-Zip. You will want to extract these games before copying them over to your Retroid Pocket 3+.

I’ve just now gotten some of my emulators and ROMs copied over to my Retroid Pocket 3+. So, I’m going to go get my game on and I’m hoping to have some great reviews for you later on.
